Which to choose · Hong Kong
The Peninsula or the Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong?
Both are on the Kowloon side, at very different heights. The Peninsula has overlooked Victoria Harbour from Salisbury Road in Tsim Sha Tsui since 1928, with its 30-storey tower added behind the original building in 1994; the Ritz-Carlton, opened in 2011, fills floors 102 to 118 of the International Commerce Centre in West Kowloon, above the Elements mall and Kowloon Station. The Peninsula sees the harbour from the Tower's 17th to 27th floors and has nearly a century of history; the Ritz-Carlton sees it from above the 100th, with larger rooms and the airport train beneath.
