I live between London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. When the season is right — cherry blossom in Kyoto, summer in the Cotswolds, autumn in Hong Kong — I travel out for stays that are worth the trip. Each city is chosen deliberately: a distinct service culture, a serious dining scene, and enough contrast to keep the comparisons honest.
