Higashimachi, Bikan Historical Quarter, Kurashiki撚る屋
Yoruya
Yoruya is a 13-room restaurant inn in Higashimachi, a residential street at the eastern edge of Kurashiki's Bikan Historical Quarter, made from a city-designated traditional building put up over 110 years ago as the annex of a kimono merchant and later run as a ryokan until 2014. The old house holds the reception, a counter dining room serving a seasonal Japanese course and a street-front wine bar, and an inner lane leads back to rooms in the restored building and two new wings of lime plaster and brick.
