Setouchi Retreat Aonagi by Onko Chishin
Setouchi Retreat Aonagi is a seven-suite hotel in a concrete building by Tadao Ando on a hill in the north of Matsuyama, facing the islands of the Seto Inland Sea; it was partly a museum before Onko Chishin converted it with Ando in 2015. The suites are spare and glass-walled, four of them with hot-spring baths, and there is a 30 m infinity pool, a spa and a kaiseki dining room.
