Ichinomiya, Takayama日本の宿 ひだ高山 倭乃里

Wanosato

Wanosato is an eight-room ryokan in the forest at Ichinomiya, about 20 minutes by car south of Takayama station, built from relocated Hida farmhouses and gassho-zukuri houses on the banks of the Miya river below Mount Kuraiyama. Rooms are in the main building, a 160-year-old farmer's house with a central irori hearth, or in four detached houses, and the inn has its own hot spring.
