Tanigawa Onsen, Minakami別邸 仙寿庵
Bettei Senjuan
Bettei Senjuan is an 18-room onsen ryokan opened in 1997 on the Tanigawa river at Tanigawa Onsen, west of Minakami in Gunma, with Mount Tanigawa as its borrowed view and an open-air hot-spring bath in every room. Its architect Takao Habuka set a curving corridor about 8 metres high against earthen walls, kumiko screens and mica-printed washi, and the inn has been a Relais & Châteaux member since 2012.
