Shikotsuko Tsuruga Besso Kohakunosho
Kohakunosho is a 24-room onsen inn of the Hokkaido Tsuruga Group at Shikotsuko Onsen, on the shore of Lake Shikotsu, Japan's northernmost lake that never freezes, opened in August 2026. It is decorated in 'lake white', after the moonlight on the lake, with water gardens, a waterfall corridor and art of snow, mist, stars and birds, and every room has its own hot-spring bath.
