Simose Art Garden Villa
Simose Art Garden Villa is ten detached villas by Shigeru Ban on a 4.6-hectare waterfront site in Otake, Hiroshima, shared with the Simose Art Museum and a French restaurant, looking across the Seto Inland Sea to Miyajima. Four villas rebuild Ban's early houses, among them the Paper House of paper tubes, and five waterfront villas line the basin where the museum's eight coloured-glass galleries float.
