Unzen Onsen, Obama-machi旅亭 半水盧
Ryotei Hanzuiryo
Ryotei Hanzuiryo is a ryokan of fourteen rooms in sukiya-style buildings on a 5,000-tsubo garden site at Unzen Onsen, the old spa town inside Unzen-Amakusa National Park on the Shimabara Peninsula of Nagasaki. Opened in 1992 and built by Kyoto temple carpenters, each two-storey room of about 250 sq m looks onto its own garden and has tatami rooms and a hinoki bath; the two single-storey special rooms have the only hot-spring baths in a room. Dinner is a monthly hon-kaiseki carried to the room.
