Miyanoshita, Hakone箱根吟遊
Hakone Ginyu
Hakone Ginyu is a twenty-room ryokan in Miyanoshita, Hakone, built down the side of the Hayakawa gorge at about 420 metres, with every room facing the valley and the Hakone mountains. It mixes Japanese inn service, with tatami throughout and kaiseki in the room, with furniture and objects bought in Bali, and runs its own spa pavilion in the woods.

Hakone Ginyu takes no bookings on its own website and releases its rooms on set dates, months ahead. Tell us your dates and our team in Japan books it for you, at the inn’s own rate. We ask for the room we would choose and look after everything else with the inn on your behalf: your preferences and requests, any special arrangement, from a celebration to a car from the station, and whatever you need before and during your stay. The price and cancellation terms are confirmed with you first.
