Fufu Hakone
A 39-suite onsen house of the Fufu brand on a steep plot just outside the centre of Gora in Hakone, its four buildings set so that every one faces the valley and the Hakone mountains. Rooms are modern and calm, with rock, bamboo and seasonal flowers, a sofa or daybed and a stone hot-spring bath at the window, and the house uses two springs: milky Owakudani water in the shared baths and clear Gora water in the rooms.
