Executive House Zen is a hotel within a hotel of 84 rooms, opened in October 2007 on the 11th and 12th floors of The Main at Hotel New Otani Tokyo in Kioicho, with its own lounge, check-in and concierge. Rooms use bamboo, charcoal and washi with ink works by the calligrapher Shotei Ihata, and the lounge looks over the hotel's 10-acre Japanese garden, over 400 years old, towards Akasaka Palace, Shinjuku and on clear days Mount Fuji.
