Auberge Tokito
Auberge TOKITO is a restaurant with four suites, a tea room and its own hot spring, opened in April 2023 by the Tachikawa landowner Tachihi Holdings in Nishikicho, Tachikawa, western Tokyo. The stay is built around dinner from a kitchen led by Kenji Okawara, formerly of Kyoto Kitcho, with Yoshinori Ishii, formerly of Umu in London, as producer; the suites, by Shinichiro Ogata's studio SIMPLICITY, are minimal and open on to an inner garden, each with its own hot-spring bath.

106 sq m · interior garden, through floor-to-ceiling glass view · Four alike in size · each with a free-flowing open-air hot-spring bath and its own spa treatment room. Bedding differs by suite: an electric reclining bed (140 × 195 cm) or a futon-style mattress (120 × 200 cm).
