Buyer guide · Bangkok
Can you rent out a branded residence in Bangkok?
Owners may let for 30 days or more; in January 2018 a Thai court ruled, in cases at a Hua Hin condominium, that letting units on a daily or weekly basis without a hotel licence under the 2004 Hotel Act is illegal.
6 branded residences in Bangkok on our list have published letting terms; at Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, Dusit Parkside and Dusit Residences the hotel or operator is involved in letting. A building's own rules and its owners' association can be stricter than the law, so the terms of the building come first.
This is a summary, not legal advice; a lawyer in Thailand should check the title and the terms before any deposit.
