Bilkey Llinas Design was architect and overall designer, with Bensley Design Studios for the landscaped gardens and the spa and SPIN Design Studio for Jin Sha. The pagoda-style pavilions overlook a meandering lagoon in traditional Jiangnan style. It opened in October 2010.
