One&Only plans a Courchevel 1850 resort with private homes

Kerzner International announced on 12 May 2026 that One&Only will open a resort in Courchevel 1850, the brand's first in the French Alps, with its first guests due in 2030. An exceptionally limited collection of One&Only Private Homes will accompany the resort. Kerzner is the owner and developer of the project.

The resort will be built on the site of the historic Courcheneige Hotel, which is to be completely transformed. It sits at the top of the Jardin Alpin, with direct ski-in, ski-out access to the Bellecôte slope in Les Trois Vallées.

Kerzner has given few details of the homes so far. The number of Private Homes, their sizes and their prices have not been published, and the company says opening timelines and sales information will follow. Juan Aguilar, President of Real Estate at Kerzner International, said: "Courchevel represents one of the most exclusive residential and hospitality markets in the world."

The resort is planned with guest rooms and suites, several restaurants, bars and lounges, and a wellness sanctuary with an indoor and outdoor wet circuit. It follows the debut of One&Only Moonlight Basin in Montana. Owners of the Private Homes will sit alongside these facilities as well as the slopes.

Another hotel brand has a residences project in the resort: Six Senses Residences Courchevel.

For a buyer, this is a ski-in, ski-out home under the One&Only name in Courchevel 1850, but an early one: no price, size or number of homes yet, and the resort is not due to receive guests until 2030.
