Aman announced Amansanu on 24 April 2026, a ranch-inspired resort in the Texas Hill Country, northwest of Austin. Alongside the resort's standalone pavilions will sit a limited collection of fully serviced homes, Aman Residences, Amansanu. It is Aman's first ranch-inspired retreat and its sixth property in the United States.
The name comes from Sanskrit and means "peaceful peak". Vlad Doronin, chairman and chief executive of Aman Group, said: "Amansanu represents a meaningful evolution for Aman in the Americas."
The residences are four- to eight-bedroom houses, each on a private plot of ten acres or more with its own pool. Olson Kundig is designing both the resort and the homes. The site lies less than 90 minutes' drive from Austin. Aman has not published the number of homes or their prices, and the announcement gave no opening date.
Owners will live within the resort and its services. Plans include a Main Lodge, several restaurants, an Aman Spa and Wellness Centre beside a creek, racquet courts and hiking trails. Amansanu will also have Aman's first fully serviced stables.
Amansanu adds to the Aman residences in the United States, among them Aman Residences, Amangiri in Utah, Aman Residences, Amangani in Jackson, Wyoming, and Aman Residences, New York, with projects in Beverly Hills and Miami Beach: Aman Residences, Beverly Hills and Aman Residences, Miami Beach.
For a buyer, Amansanu is at an early stage: large houses on substantial land within reach of Austin, sold freehold and serviced by Aman, but with no published price, number of homes or timetable so far.
