Arashiyama, Kyoto星のや京都
Hoshinoya Kyoto
HOSHINOYA Kyoto is a 25-room ryokan on the Oi river in the Arashiyama gorge west of Kyoto, upstream of the Togetsukyo bridge and reached by its own boat. It occupies the site of the 17th-century merchant Suminokura Ryoi's villa, later a century-old inn, rebuilt by Hoshino Resorts with traditional Kyoto craft and every room facing the river.
