The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur
A hotel of 300 rooms and suites on Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin in Kuala Lumpur, facing the Moorish-style old railway station: the 1932 Hotel Majestic, restored by YTL as the 47-suite Majestic Wing, joined by a climate-controlled walkway to a new 15-storey Tower Wing of 253 rooms and suites. The old building keeps its neo-classical and Art Deco façade, timber floors and black-and-white chequered bathrooms with claw-foot baths.

The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur opened in 1932. It was last renovated in 2012: full restoration of the 1932 building as the Majestic Wing, the new Tower Wing by Zaidan Tahir, and the Majestic Spa.
Opened on 15 August 1932 as the Hotel Majestic, designed by Keys and Dowdeswell in a hybrid of neo-classical and Art Deco for the trustees of Loke Wan Tho's estate; closed in 1983 and used as the National Art Gallery from 1984 to 1998, then handed to YTL, which won approval in 2008 to restore it. The original building became the Majestic Wing of suites, and a new Tower Wing by architect Zaidan Tahir rose beside it; the hotel reopened in December 2012.
