Kyoto Nanzenji Garden Ryokan Yachiyo
Nanzenji Yachiyo is a ryokan on the approach lane to Nanzen-ji temple in Kyoto's Higashiyama, run by its okami Hiroko Nakanishi, with a two-storey wooden main building of 1890 around a garden by Ogawa Jihei and a 1994 annex. The seven garden rooms of the main building have hinoki baths open to the garden, and dinner is served in the inn's garden restaurant.
