Family Office
An extension of the office, wherever the family is
Principals, their households and the people who travel with them. We work the way the rest of your bench does — quietly, on the record where it matters, off it where it does not, and reachable at the hour the request actually arrives.

The standard
The requirement is rarely the room
It is the villa that takes eleven, three of them under six. It is the floor of a hotel rather than a suite in it. It is the property that will accept a protection detail without making a point of it, and the general manager who will take a call from us about it rather than a form.
We hold those relationships through Fora and through years of staying in the places we recommend, and we are accredited to book them. What that buys the office is a single competent point of contact instead of a rotating cast of reservations agents.
Why us
Six things you are actually buying
Discretion as the default
Names are given to properties on a need-to-know basis and nowhere else. Nothing about a principal’s movements is stored anywhere it does not need to be, and nothing is ever used as a reference.
Multi-generational arrangements
Three households, four cities and a grandparent who will not fly overnight. We build the itinerary so that it works for the slowest traveller in it, not the fastest.
The house before the brand
We recommend the property, not the flag. Where a villa or a private estate is the right answer we will say so, even though a hotel would pay us better.
Security, accommodated
Adjoining rooms for staff, service entrances, discreet arrival, and properties that have done this before. We ask the questions your detail would ask, in advance.
One line of reporting
Costs, confirmations and folios in the format the office already uses, so travel reconciles like everything else on the ledger rather than as an exception.
Standing knowledge
Preferences are kept: the airline, the floor, the pillow, the allergy, the two hotels in London that are not to be suggested again. You should not have to say it twice.
How it runs
Four steps, in order
I
Introduction
A conversation with whoever in the office owns travel, to establish how you work, who may instruct us, and what may never be put in an email.
II
The file
Preferences, passports, loyalty numbers, dietary and medical notes and the standing arrangements, held once and kept current.
III
Arrangement
Each trip sourced, held and contracted against that file, with options put to you in a form you can forward to a principal without editing it first.
IV
On call
Through the trip and after it. The properties know whose guests these are, and the office has one number for anything that moves.
Confidential, anticipatory, on call
We take on a small number of offices, because the value of the arrangement is that we know the family — and that is not something that scales past a point.
