What it is
You are not buying rates. You are buying someone whose job it is to know
Any competent agent can put you in a good hotel. The difference is in the two hundred small decisions underneath it — the wing, the floor, the season, the suite that photographs well and faces the car park, the property that has just changed general manager and is not what it was last year.
We hold that because we stay in these places and keep a record of it. Membership is what puts it on retainer: the rates and the perks come as standard, and what you are actually paying for is the judgement that decides where to use them.
Included
Every year, for one fee
01
Consortia rates and perks on every stay
Marriott STARS and Luminous, Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Hyatt Privé, Hilton Impresario, Rosewood Elite, Belmond Bellini and their equivalents. A room-category upgrade at check-in, breakfast for two, a property credit and late checkout, subject to availability — as a standard of the programme, not a favour.
02
Answered first, and answered late
Member enquiries go to the front. Same working day, every time, a direct line rather than a form, and someone reachable around the clock while you are travelling — which matters most on the afternoon something has gone wrong at the other end of the world.
03
Last-minute, anywhere
A room tonight in a city where everything is sold out, a car at an airport you were not supposed to land at. This is the part that is worth having on retainer rather than asking for as a favour.
04
A profile we keep
Passports, loyalty numbers, the airline, the floor, the allergy, the two hotels never to suggest again. Held once, used every time, so you are not re-explaining yourself to your own travel agent.
05
The book, opened
Our honest read on the properties in the guide — which suite, which wing, which season, and where the photography is doing heavy lifting. The part that is not on the website.
06
Rates watched
Where a rate drops before you travel, or a better programme rate opens up, we rebook it. You should not have to check.
07
A sit-down on the year ahead
Once a year we go through what is coming — the trips already in the diary, the ones that are still an idea, and what needs booking now because it will be gone by spring.
08
The fee, back
The first year’s membership is credited against your first booking through us. If we do not save you more than it costs, it has cost you nothing.
Questions
Answered plainly
It is an annual fee, billed yearly and cancellable at any time. We quote it when we come back to you, because we only take on members we can actually serve well, and it is a short conversation either way.
We take on a small number
Tell us how you travel. If membership is not the right shape for it we will say so, and point you at the thing that is.
