Hotel Review: Conrad Centennial Singapore

There was a generous 4th night free campaign on Amex FHR program. For Marriott loyalist who doesn't hold any status, Amex FHR enables me to experience the luxury hotel properties without loosing out potential benefits you would otherwise missed out on regular booking.

Located in just behind Mandarin Oriental and Raffles Singapore

Checkin :

On arrival, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to a lobby by a doorman.

At check-in, the front staff was a pleasant gentleman who mistook me for an actor. Whether it was an intended flattery or not, the check-in procedure was professional, explaining all hotel facilities and a $100 USD property credit.

Our Amex FHR booking included:

1. Early checkin at 12 pm
2. Daily breakfast for 2 people
3. Room upgrade
4. $100 hotel property credit
5. Late checkout at 4 pm

It was a bit shame our booking did not include the lounge access which would have otherwise enhanced our experience to the next level.

Conclusion :

Conrad is surly one of the leading luxury hotel properties in Singapore. It was a pleasant introduction to what Hilton property feels like to a Marriott loyalist. I am looking for a chance to try the other luxury category Hilton property, Waldorf Astoria when the time comes. For my preference, I am more fond of luxury category Marriott properties such as old-school Ritz Carlton or glamorous St Regis.
